There goes that skepticism trigger again. History is littered with ideas that turned out to be groundless from bleeding people in medicine to the parade of perpetual motion motors in physics. So it’s hard to give such ambition and revolutionary concepts much traction.

Except the germ theory panned out and something will have to give in physics as quantum physics remains to the casually trained and knowledgeable observer as still incomplete if not wholly wrong. As a physicist told me 30 years ago that Einstein is right but we don’t see the equation fully, E=MC2 just as MC2=E. It’s how we come at or choose a perspective that illuminates or blinds us. Einstein only “verified” that Newton’s work was correct in certain conditions. Things change, as knowledge gets better and deeper.

So Randell Mill’s founded Blacklight Power has something going that while it defies conventions seems to be proving that the new science is real. With over $60 million in backing and now a Rowan University verification in hand the Blacklight claims seem more solid. Much more of that and the world will shift . . .

Blacklight is working Mill’s distained theory of hydrinos into an irresistible fact. The Rowan University pdf is very clear; the excess energy is massive, measurable and verifiable. Just how it works is unstated, but the Blacklight provided reactor stands as a verified source of heat energy.

With a handful of high level scientists, a working and sophisticated board of directors, hardware and consumables given out to third party investigators with confirmation coming back, the venture investors have to be feeling quite good. Staring down the rejection by the mainstream scientific community is never easy, and the distain and glaring ignoring of the theory and work rewarded with a productive unit has to be a grand victory.

The only hard gap in the certainty is the treatment Blacklight does to the Raney nickel obtained from a conventional industrial supply and uses in the reactor with water to energize the reactor. Mills alludes that the nickel is doped with sodium hydroxide in a process that other can duplicate.

Peter Jansson a Rowan University researcher offers that the team chemists in analyzing the nickel compound couldn’t see a way that Blacklight could rig the testing by somehow “storing energy” in the doped Raney nickel. Jansson said, “It would be rather difficult to do this quantity of heat storage chemically in this material. We would have seen significant changes.”

Its been disclosed that Jansson has been aware of Blacklight for years, and even acted as an advisor for an energy company that ultimately made a strategic investment, but appears to have no unethical ties, just an ongoing interest. Jansson also professes to be impartial to the existence of hydrinos, saying he’s interested in hearing any “alternative explanation” to the hydrino theory.

Randell Mills says he’d like for scientists to independently verify every step of the process, from obtaining the Raney nickel and doping it to the calorimeter tests to prove that the energy bursts really exist. Here’s the kicker if you’ve an urge to solve the energy crises – the information to run your own tests is free to the public, the only thing required is the ability to puzzle through the process.

While the Rowan University testing has driven quick bursts of intense heat Mills says that Blacklight is purposely holding the knowledge of methods to loop the reaction within Blacklight for competitive purposes. With a need to do two difficult things simultaneously, overcome the disparagement and drive on to commercial energy production Mills and Blacklight have a strange task pair to manage. Whatever is happening that releases the energy, the commercialization effort will go on. Blacklight offers a graphic to show how a plant might be laid out.

BlackLight's Proposed Plant Diagram

Whatever becomes of the Mills Hydrino Theory, right or wrong or whatever, the heat output is looking real. Prudence may dictate waiting for more independent verification, but the thirst for cheap power could drive innovators to realize that the Blacklight method of looping may not be the only or even the best way to harness the effect into saleable power. There may be unimaginable opportunity here for the taking.

I want to believe that Mill’s theory is correct, but have only the verified application by Rowan University to go on. But a few more verifications, better yet another reactor method that exploits the theory would show all of us what Mills hopes to be the most important breakthrough since the discovery of nuclear power.

The reality check is that physics isn’t looking at the effect so the proving or disproving of the Mills theory isn’t happening. By itself it isn’t an issue. So far Blacklight isn’t selling home reactor kits or marketing some salvation for mankind. The effort appears to be classic investigation, theorization and testing of the perceptions. From which there is heat produced and the basic process is verified – once.

There aren’t any pieces of a scam here. Just questions, but the right answers would be astounding. Coming up with Raney nickel, sodium hydroxide and water for consumables to make power seems to good to be true, but those tiny objects in the blood couldn’t make people sick either.

Here is the Rowan University Report in a pdf, to see for yourself.

    IT IS REALLY VERY INTERESTING.
I HOPE THAT OTHER SCIENTISTS WILL VALIDATE YOUR “DISCOVERY” AND THAT (AS SOON AS POSSIBLE) YOUR CLEAN NEW ENERGY SOURCE WILL BE UTILISED AND DIFFUSED EVERYWHERE.
AS YOU CERTAINLY KNOW,OUR PLANET IS IN A VERY BAD STATE (SITUATION) AND WE NEED A “DISCOVERY” LIKE THIS.
    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
    SINCERELY,
