		<description>Another competing technology out there is the hydrogen fuel cell.  If an inexpensive fuel cell is invented, batteries won&#039;t be necessary.  There are lots of possibilities for fuel cells including interim solutions that can convert gasoline or natural gas directly into electricity.  Hydrogen is best, but an interim solution could advance the entire technology and give batteries a run for their money.</description>
